The 2009 Global Tastes event was a success! I really enjoyed being a part of it and while lighting conditions might not have been ideal, the crowd most certainly was. My only regret is I did not get a chance to taste most of the food! Here are a few shots from the night (these and others will be added to my Events Gallery):
This beautiful woman represented the Russian and Asian cuisine of Tashkent
The event was in the beautiful rotunda of the Penn Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology
People had a great time trying food from so many different restaurants. Here folks are tasting from Gojjo's, an Ethiopian restaurant.
And of course, Mayor Michael Nutter was there to receive the NSC's 1st Beacon of Justice Award!
It was a lovely evening and a great way to raise money for an important organization.

Beautiful work.

Wow - cool space! You need an assistant so you can find time to eat :)

Hey I think the girl with the chicken korma is smiling at me. No wait. She's smiling at you.
Terrific images, Sarah.
