A couple of weekends ago I shot some events put on as part of the University of Pennsylvania’s Homecoming Weekend.
The Friday night I covered the “Gallery Hop” which began with an exhibit of Jacob Lawrence’s gorgeous prints. We then went to the architectural library to see beautiful drawings and journals from Louis Kahn. The tour ended at the Institute for Contemporary Art where there was an expert lecturing about each exhibit. Fun!
Saturday I had the real joy of going to three different hands-on studio sessions: a clay workshop, a figure drawing class, and a printmaking class in The Common Press. Such gorgeous things to photograph in each!
