Recently I had the honor of photographing Dr. C. Brian Rose, Deputy Director of The Penn Museum, who will be featured in the next issue of The Penn Gazette for his work as Head of Post-Bronze Age excavations at Troy (since 1988).
He was kind enough to take me into a restricted area and have a colleague bring out precious ancient jewelry for me to see and appreciate, then back in his office he showed off the maps of the excavation project at Troy. The project outline can be seen at the website Project Troia.
